I love this week's post by Carol Brown & Chris Coursey ... Are You Making These 3 Mistakes With Joy And Missing Benefits?

Are you missing the benefits of joy in family life and ministry because of these three mistakes?

Mistake #1Thinking joy is something it’s not. I made this mistake too. I thought it was some kind of “floaty” elevated experience only seldom experienced by mere mortals such as myself. I learned from Dr. Jim Wilder[1] that it does not have to be a huge ecstatic experience. Instead, joy is…

…produced when someone is glad to see me. [2] And I would add, and “you are/were glad to be with them!”

Joy can have many levels of intensity. It can be the feeling you had as a child when your mother made chocolate pudding and let you lick the spoon. Everything within you and about you enjoyed licking the bits of pudding from the pan and the spoon. Your delight and appreciation brought a smile to her face as her eyes danced with delight at your delight.

Joy can be the wave of appreciation that washes over you when you call a trustee to come help fix a problem with the heating system…on his day off and he comes cheerfully.

Joy can be the feeling you have when you hear your favorite singer, favorite instrumental piece, or the voice of a loved one. It can be the quiet contentment of snuggles with your spouse or another family member.

It can also be the fun of a family get together with stories flying, a conference well executed or your favorite kind of adrenaline rush that leaves your body vibrating and blood pulsing.

Joy is like that—it has a rhythm of rising and falling from intensity to quietly resting calm. It is all joy and our bodies are built for that rhythm. Our brains need both the intensity and the rest from intensity in the same way that our muscles need vigorous exercise and then rest.

Another hallmark of joy is the smiles, the face lighting up and the eyes sparkling. Joy lights you up.

Mistake #2Substitute pseudo-joy for the real thing. If some of the 19 relational brain skills dropped out of your family, you never had the opportunity to learn them. You may have learned that BEEPS provide a brain chemistry mix that is similar to joy. Your body craves joy; it runs on joy but if pseudo-joy is all you know, then that is where you turn. Do you self-medicate to calm your cravings? Instead of following the addictive directive, use your craving as a trigger to remind you to do something different. For example:

·         Crave coffee? On your way to the coffee pot, practice appreciating the person who makes it.

·         Crave a nap? Start something that requires movement. Movement itself can refresh you.

·         Crave sweets? Let the desire for sweetness remind you to text or phone your spouse.

·         Crave unconditional love?

Practice appreciating your spouse, a family member or difficult person for something he/she does well, and watch the difference it makes.

Mistake #3Blame God for not coming through for you. Feel like He doesn’t have your back? Or that He is ignoring you? Instead of being angry with God, ask to see your situation through His eyes. This is called “having an Immanuel moment.”

You can be so thoroughly absorbed with circumstances that you cannot see what God is accomplishing through them. Allowing circumstances to chew on you or drive you is a way to become intensely restless, develop tension problems or ulcers. When you give your best and nothing changes, you are tempted to discouragement, feel that you must be defective in some way, to self medicate or to quit.

Anger at God that seethes below the surface spoils relationships, with leaders and volunteers, but is especially corrosive to relationships at home. Seeing from God’s perspective changes attitudes; feelings come into alignment with His will and emotions settle.

Low joy in life can take you on a downward spiral of depression, addiction, low self-esteem and discouragement.

Benefits of Joy -- Joy keeps relationships bigger than the problems. It can rebuild relationships at work and home; bring freedom from addictions and cravings. It renews relationship with God.

Joy is powerful medicine!

Healthy Recipes ...

This recipe's from Jillee ...

Cauliflower crust 2

Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Makes one 9 inch pizza crust
Adapted from eat. drink. smile.
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (I used an italian blend)
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp kosher salt
olive oil (optional)
pizza sauce, shredded cheese and your choice of toppings*
Directions:
Remove stems and leaves from 1 head of cauliflower, and chop the florets into chunks. Add to your food processor and pulse until it looks like grain. Do not over-do pulse or you will puree it. (You can also use a cheese grater). Place the “riced” cauliflower into a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 8 minutes (may need to adjust according to your microwave). No need to add water.
One large head will produce between 2 and 3 cups of riced and cooked cauliflower. The remainder can be used to make additional pizza crusts immediately, or can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
To make the pizza crust:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray (or use non-stick aluminum foil on a cookie sheet, which is what I did). In a medium bowl, stir together 1 cup cauliflower, beaten egg and mozzarella. Add oregano, minced garlic and salt, mix well. Transfer the mixture to your cookie sheet, and pat out into a 9″ round.
Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool awhile. This helps to make the crust more solid.

To make the pizza: add sauce, toppings and cheese. Place under a broiler at high heat just until cheese is melted (approximately 3-4 minutes). *Toppings need to be precooked since you are only broiling for a few minutes.
If it had been ONLY for me…I would have added all sorts of veggies to this pizza….but since it was made primarily in honor of No. 2 Son…cheese and pepperoni were the chosen toppings. Simple…but delicious nonetheless.
cauliflower pizza crust
I’m still somewhat stunned as I write this, just how good the crust turned out! It was a great consistency (I could pick it up with my fingers and eat it just like a regular slice of pizza!) and the flavors were delicious! Hard to beat cheese and garlic in ANY form. :-)
So if you are looking for a low carb and/or gluten-free alternative for pizza crust (or if you just want to try a new taste treat)…pick up some cauliflower next time you’re in the produce section and take the challenge!

And here's a recipe from Kaitlyn, Jillee's daughter-in-law ...

How To Make Cauliflower Rice

Cauliflower Rice
Start by cutting the stem off the cauliflower and then chop the crown into smaller pieces.

Cauliflower Rice
Next, you can either use a blender/food processor or a cheese grater to “rice” the cauliflower.
I tried both and decided that the blender or food processor is the far superior method. I put a handful of cauliflower into my Blendtec, pulsed it a few times and it was done! The cheese grater worked fine but it made such a mess. Cauliflower is so crumbly that I ended up with little pieces of it all over the counter after using the grater.

Cauliflower Rice
At this point if you don’t think you’ll be able to eat the whole batch you can freeze some of the cauliflower. I got this idea from Alyssa at everydaymaven.com. She suggests freezing it in 2 cup portions.

Now it’s time to cook our “rice!”
Like I mentioned above I tried 3 different methods.

First up, the oven method.
Cauliflower Rice
Spread your cauliflower out in single layer on a cookie sheet. Bake at 475 for 15-20 minutes, flipping the cauliflower one time.
I couldn’t ever get my cauliflower to really dry out. I think I should have dried it out a bit before cooking because it ended up kind of steaming in the oven. But it still browned up a bit and tasted great.

Next up, the microwave method.
Cauliflower Rice
Put your cauliflower in a microwave safe dish and cover. Microwave for 2-3 minutes.
This ended up being my least favorite method. The microwave steams the cauliflower and it ends up tasting exactly like tiny little pieces of steamed cauliflower. Not that there is anything wrong with steamed cauliflower, but it’s not really the result I’m going for when making cauliflower rice.

Finally, the stove method.
I read quite a few more complicated stove recipes that involved adding onions, chicken broth and seasonings, but I wanted something as simple as possible.
Cauliflower Rice
I just heated a couple tablespoons of olive oil (coconut oil would be great too) in a pan and then added my cauliflower. I sautéed the cauliflower until it dried out a bit and had golden brown edges.
This was by far my favorite method! I loved the flavor that the oil added. And the cauliflower browned up so nicely. The texture was much better than the oven or microwave batches.

Cauliflower Rice
Now, even though I thought it turned out delicious I will say that it does not taste exactly like rice. It definitely still tastes like cauliflower. But the texture makes it a perfect rice substitute in a lot of recipes. From what I read you’ll generally want to use it with drier foods. Cauliflower tends to really suck up liquid so it’s not a great substitute in casseroles with heavy sauces.
I made Cauliflower Fried Rice for dinner last night and it was a hit! I added some grilled chicken to bulk it up a bit and make it a more complete meal. Even my husband liked it and he tends to be very leery of “healthy” food. His words were, “I can tell it’s not rice, but I don’t care!”

Cauliflower Rice
Here are 10 other cauliflower rice recipes I’m hoping to try:
I’m also planning to try my hand at cauliflower “mashed potatoes.”

Words from the LORD through Marsha ...

March 25, 2014
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

Ask for wisdom in your current dilemma, and I will show you how to proceed. I will reveal pieces of the puzzle that you have not yet considered, says the Lord. Trust Me to take you in a proper progression so that nothing is lost, stolen or destroyed that is still of value. My ways always bring life and liberty to all concerned. Be strong and persevere.
"And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, and perseverance, character; and character, hope." (Romans 5:3-4)
I find much hope in this word from the LORD through Marsha. O that nothing would be lost, stolen or destroyed that is still of value as YOU help me to navigate this journey I'm on O LORD! And the promise that YOU O LORD always bring life and liberty to all concerned is something that I'll foerever hold on to!!

Kim Clement's Prophetic Alert - Malaysia Airlines and Beyond ... 28 Hours and links to watch him online ...

Warriors,

While praying yesterday morning I was pressed by the Spirit of God to seek Him regarding the Malaysia Airlines situation. What happened was quite astounding and caused weakness in my body to the point where I fell to my knees and entered a time of travail and prophetic intercession. I wept openly for the human lives that were placed into this monstrous coffin. However, during this theophany I was given an open vision for a few seconds. What I saw was not only about this Airline situation, but what will be revealed hereafter and what will emerge. God instructed me to separate myself for the next two days. Due to this directive given by the Spirit of God, I will be doing a special Prophetic Alert on Thursday, March 20th and prophesy what I received this morning and will receive in the next 28 hours. Take this time to get caught up on the broadcasts from Ukraine, where the insights began, and watch how God used that land and mission field to speak His Word to America and Israel.

Let’s find out what our enemy is planning and what promises God gave years ago... and even now, so that we can pray effectively. And with the high praises of God in our mouths and a two-edged sword in our hands, execute vengeance on the nations (demonic forces)...bind their kings with chains and their leaders with iron chains and EXECUTE THE WRITTEN JUDGMENT AGAINST THEM...THIS HONOR HAVE ALL HIS PEOPLE. Psalm 149:6-9

DON’T MISS THE PROPHETIC ALERT ON THURSDAY MARCH 20th at 3 PM PT/ 6 PM ET/ 10 PM GMT.

Kim Clement

This Thursday's broadcast (March 20th) will be LIVE online from 3:00PM PT/6:00PM ET/10:00PM GMT. You can join us at www.kimclement.tv at the scheduled time. We will replay this event immediately following the LIVE broadcast.

Here are five powerful prayers to help you fight for the heart of your daughter ...

1.    Let her learn early in life that to obey You, God, is the best way to the life her heart truly desires (1 Samuel 15:22).

2.    May she find comfort in Your ability, God, to reach her, hold her and rescue her (2 Samuel 22:17-18).

3.    Let her find confidence in You, God, even when hard times come and she doesn’t know what to do, by keeping her eyes fixed on You (2 Chronicles 20:12).

4.    May she keep herself under control and not give full vent to people and situations that anger her (Proverbs 29:11).

5.    Let her walk in the security of Your assigned worth to her. Give her a strong work ethic and health to accomplish all her tasks. Give her a heart that desires to extend her hand to those in need. Protect her for the right husband, a man of respect and godly honor. And let her be a woman of joy and laughter whose Christ-centered character is what makes her most beautiful (Proverbs 31).

Dear Lord, I know that Your Word does not return void and I’m believing great things for my daughter today. May we both grow in our relationship with You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

“‘… so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.’” Isaiah 55:11 (ESV)

Here are five powerful prayers you can use today to fight for the heart of your son ...

1.   Create in my son a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10).

2.   May my son walk after You, God, and fear You and keep Your commandments and obey Your voice. May he serve You and hold fast to You (Deuteronomy 13:4).

3.   May my son be strong and courageous and not fear or be in dread, for it is You, Lord, our God, who goes with him. You will never leave him or forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6).

4.   May my son walk before You, God, as King David walked, with integrity of heart and uprightness, doing according to all that You have commanded him, and keeping Your statutes and rules (1 Kings 9:4).

5.   Like Timothy, may my son be an example to believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity (1 Timothy 4:12).

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us the tools of Your Word and prayer to fight the battle for our sons’ hearts. Help me see who our real enemy is when we are in a conflict. May You be glorified in all I do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Something to think about ...

March 19, 2014. Jesus had emotions in life just like believers today. When His cousin, John the Baptist, was beheaded and buried, Jesus retreated to a remote area to be alone. But the crowd around Him followed him. There was a huge crowd waiting for Him as He stepped from the boat. Instead of getting upset with them for being insensitive, He had compassion for them and healed their sick. That might seem inconceivable to you and me right now. But all that emotion within us shows that we are not yet as Jesus is. He is cheering us on.
Matthew 14:13-14 (NLT) "As soon as Jesus heard the news, he left in a boat to a remote area to be alone. But the crowds heard where he was headed and followed on foot from many towns. Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick." Ras Robinson

O LORD that I would speak forth always words that build up, stir up and cheer up!

March 20, 2014. Be careful with your spoken words. Whenever possible, let your speech be gentle with those who are gentle. Be kind with those who are kind. Adjust your harsh words in favor of kindness and understanding of your audience. Even with those who speak harshly, when possible, demonstrate compassion in communication with them. Do not return unkind words spoken to you. Defuse their wrath with gentleness. Stop spreading fire by washing yourself and others with the word of God. Choose words that build up, stir up and cheer up.
Proverbs 15:1 (NASB) "A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger." Ras Robinson

And this is what the future holds ... the LORD'S timing is precious and perfect in ALL things. Thank YOU O LORD. Thank you Doug for listening ears and follow through in releasing ... for such a time as this. And thank you to all the staff and leaders at THE ELIJAH LIST! Many and mighty blessings to ALL of you!

Doug Addison:
Doug AddisonThere has been a horrendous attack against those who are advancing right now. March is coming in like a lion with warfare and resistance but it is going out like a lion as well. The result will create a new strength of character that you need right now: to be "gentle as a lamb." Humility is a key to overcoming and advancing.
March Forward!
If there is one word to describe what we need to do...that is "March." Forward motion will open the doors in front of you and close the doors behind. "As you go" things will open. Don't sit down or give up right now. The enemy's plans are to get you discouraged and quit, but God is sending help and angelic reinforcements.
The first three months of 2014 have been a testing time. Many people have taken themselves out of the game but it is not time to back down. It is time to keep moving forward!!! God is promoting people who are able to overcome, remain humble and engaged.
Sudden Advancement
Covenant Promise by Jennifer PageWatch for surprises and sudden advancement. God is taking the Heavenly resources for the higher callings and gifts that were intended for those who quit and giving them to people who are ready and willing. This will unfold more from now through July. Ask God to show you assignments or tasks that others have forgotten about or stopped using. As you pick these Heavenly tasks up, you will see an accelerated increase in growth and resources.
Wisdom, Peace and Encouragement
As you may have seen or experienced, there is an extreme amount of turmoil on the earth right now. It is happening with the weather and in the political overthrowing of governments. Disharmony is at an extreme level.
It is so important to stay at peace during this storm. It will take three characteristics of the Holy Spirit to get through: Wisdom, Peace, and Encouragement. God is granting a huge amount of peace and encouragement for those who need it. As you begin to exercise new levels of wisdom, God will establish a new foundation so that many of the prophetic words you've received will make sense. God says that the Spirit of encouragement will win this year.
"By wisdom the Lord laid the earth's foundations, by understanding He set the heavens in place." Proverbs 3:19
Political Upheaval
The political shaking that is happening right now is birth pains. It is not for judgment but for the release of something new that is going to set up a huge move of God. It is a prophetic sign that the old is being displaced by something totally new. We saw this in the Winter Olympics as many reigning champions were replaced by new, upcoming leaders.
Older ways of controlling people are making way for new levels of freedom. "The old has gone and the new is here" (2 Corinthians 5:17). God is releasing a new level of freedom that is waking up the Earth to His love and power.
Vertigo in Leaders
I have been seeing a lot of leaders suffering from vertigo. If you are experiencing this, there is a good chance that people around you are not in agreement with what you are doing. Vertigo is a negative spin that can happen when there are people praying or going in a different direction.
Granted, it could be a physical illness. But often, if you are a leader, physical illnesses are a prophetic sign of things happening around you. You will overcome this by getting the right people around you to support the new time you are entering.
Prophetic Signs of Bob Jones's Death
Prophet Bob Jones went back to Heaven for a final time on February 14, 2014. Bob died in 1975, but was sent back to prepare us for one of the greatest revivals on earth that is about to take place. Bob was a personal friend and spiritual father to me. I had the opportunity to travel and mentor with Bob for a number of years.
There were so many prophetic signs at Bob's passing. Here are a few:
• Bob died on 2/14. The prophet of Love dies on the day of love (Valentine's Day).
• 2/14 = 2 Kings 2:14 is the passing of the mantle from Elijah to Elisha.
• He died at 6:22 am. Matthew 6:22, "The eye is the light of the body..." Bob was a true "eye of the Body" type of Seer.
• There was an earthquake in South Carolina on the day he died and measured 4.1 on the Richter scale. Revelation 4:1, "I looked and there was a door standing open in Heaven."
We know that Bob's loss on earth is a gain in Heaven. All that Bob had prophesied and given to us will bring a great return!
"Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." John 12:24
My Miracle at Bob's Graveside
As many of you know I have been very sick with Lyme disease for the past eight months. I had to cancel several speaking events and have been unable to do much work, moving slowly. An infected tick in Moravian Falls, NC a few years ago, bit me. As I was walking away from Bob Jones' graveside service in Moravian Falls, Bobby Connor turned and prayed for me. A flash of blue angelic light appeared between us and I was instantly healed. I am so grateful to be restored 100% by God's Holy Spirit. I have been feeling great ever since!
May God grant you full healing and wholeness as we advance the Kingdom on Earth. It's time to march forward!

This word from the LORD through Marsha is a great explanantion about the wheat and the chaff and there's more great words too ... and from Bill too ...

March 13, 2014
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:
Be aware that there is a separation of wheat from chaff--this is a separation of what is relevant and purposeful from the irrelevant. That which is no longer useful to your spiritual position will be stripped away for the purpose of establishing purity. Clarity is the result of your process of becoming clear, clean and transparent in who you are and what you do, says the Lord. Let this process have free rein in your life.
Luke 3:17 "His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire."

March 14, 2014
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:
Take time to examine what I have given you in the way of gifts, talents, and opportunities. Then, be aware that I will show you ways to move forward by taking those things to a higher and more efficient level. You will experience growth and greater maturity that can astound you as you extend yourself beyond the barriers of previous expectations, says the Lord. Let Me transport you to the outer limits.
Isaiah 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.

March 17, 2014
THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS:
God says, some of your involvements include things that you ought not be involved in, and they are dragging you down. They are keeping you in a place of bondage. My instruction to you is stop those things that I am putting My finger on so that you are not negatively effected by them the rest of your life. For, these are the days where opportunities to come higher exist and where the greater realm of My presence is available to you. So, choose between these two things. If you check your spiritual level you will know that which is wrong, and then you can put those things aside as you resolve to go up higher.
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:
Make every effort to stay surrendered and spiritually focused. There is a wide variety of things that can and will take you off course if you let your guard down and allow your mind to wander. Watch for all manner of seduction that will cause you to deviate from My perfect plan and purpose for your life, says the Lord. Keep looking up.
Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

March 18, 2014
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:
There are plenty of reasons for you to see your life as less than perfect or even very bleak, but I want you to realize that your pilgrimage in the world is temporary. You have heard the phrase "hope springs eternal", and I want to assure you that I have given you the ability to rise up in hope regardless of your circumstances. But, you must choose to trust Me and have faith in My ability to bring you through every difficulty. Position yourself to be an overcomer and believe in Me more than you believe your hardships, says the Lord. I am with you in all things.
Psalms 31:24 Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD.

I'm holding on to these words from the LORD written by Bev and Ras Robinson!

March 8, 2014. Stay on track. Satan is coming at you and yours with a vengeance. He will pull every deceptive trick he can to discourage you and get you off track. You are going the right way, My way. I know it is hard to stay on track, but don't give in. Follow Me. My way is not always easy, but it is simple. Just do what I say. You can hide yourself in Me. Hold up your shield of faith and I will deflect the flaming missiles being launched at you.
Ephesians 6:16 (AMP) "Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]." Bev Robinson

March 8, 2014. You have had a string of problems and trials. This is a hard time for so many people. Yet you have not lost hope. Your faith has remained strong through it all. Many people have admired you because you did not, at any time, give up. You inspired others to never quit. Now you have begun to notice your strength growing as you trust Me more and more. A feeling of joy is bubbling up within you as you see victory on the horizon. These problems and trials have made you stronger.
Romans 5:3 (NLT) "We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance." Ras Robinson

March 10, 2014. What was said needed to be said. You weren't sure you said it correctly. You did. You didn't allow yourself to lose self-control and you waited for the right time. You were walking in the Spirit. Now leave it alone. Don't get under the circumstances no matter how it may seem to be. I led you then and I will lead you again. All of this is working for good. Yes, continue to pray, but don't be overly burdened. Roll it all over on Me and, beloved, wait for the outcome.
Isaiah 30:18 (NLT) "So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help." Bev Robinson

March 10, 2014. Rejection hurts and separates. In following Me, you have experienced much rejection from the herd. It seemed unnecessary but it happened. God has a purpose in this rejection. It will strengthen you as a Christian. Jesus taught His disciples to shake off from their feet the dust that gathered on their feet from their visit to that city. This would be in protest of the rejection, but would also remind those of that city that they missed something big, the Kingdom of God. Great joy then came upon the disciples as they entered the next city.
Acts 13:51-52 (NLT) "So they shook the dust from their feet as a sign of rejection and went to the town of Iconium. And the believers were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit." Luke 10:11 (NLT) "We wipe even the dust of your town from our feet to show that we have abandoned you to your fate. And know this-the Kingdom of God is near!' Ras Robinson

March 11, 2014. Keep up your good works. Don't quit and don't think what you are doing is not making a difference. At times you get discouraged and wonder, "what's the use?" What you are doing is paying dividends now and in the long run will make a big difference. You have started the ball rolling and it is going to gain momentum as time goes on. You will know nothing about some of the lives touched until you get to heaven. You are going in the right direction so keep on going.
Matthew 10:26-28 (MSG) "Don't be intimidated. Eventually everything is going to be out in the open, and everyone will know how things really are. So don't hesitate to go public now. "Don't be bluffed into silence by the threats of bullies. There's nothing they can do to your soul, your core being. Save your fear for God, who holds your entire life-body and soul-in his hands." Bev Robinson

March 11, 2014. Your life as a Christian has a new look and feel. Your family, friends and other Christians will begin to appear differently to you. What has happened? You have discovered that God the Father through the Holy Spirit has in reality done away with the person you were before you were born again. The fact is that you have become someone new in a new world around you. The old you with all the sin and shortcomings is gone forever. The same has happened to all who received Christ; it is a new birth. Rejoice in the new.
2 Corinthians 5:16-17 (NASB) "Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come." Ras Robinson

March 12, 2014. Take some time for yourself. Do not put everyone first most of the time. If you don't take some time for you, you will be in trouble later. I know it's hard because there are so many needs, but you need to do this. Yes I want you loving others it is part of the second commandment but if you don't love yourself, you will eventually run dry, and there will be nothing there to give to others. Beloved, love Me and love others as much as you love yourself.
Mark 12:30-31 (NASB) "'And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' The second is this, ' You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." Bev Robinson

March 12, 2014. Your early morning prayers bring Me joy. You do this because you want the first act of your day to be prayers to Me. Like an earthly father delighting in his child, so it is with Me when you offer the sacrifice of rising early to commune with Me. Yes, you have found favor with Me. My grace extended for you is like unto viewing the ocean from the shore. I hear every word you utter. Because of this, it is gratifying to Me that I grant your requests.
Psalm 5:3 (AMP) "In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare [a prayer, a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart]." Ras Robinson

March 14, 2014. I know you are hurting. It isn't wrong to hurt. You aren't a stone; you are a person. It would be abnormal not to hurt. Beloved, hurt happens. It isn't a lack of faith. So don't beat yourself up. I don't want that. I am here for you. I am here to comfort you. Work at resting and try to keep the hurt from overtaking and overwhelming you. Be quiet and hide in Me. I am here with you to protect your mind, emotions and body.
Psalms 91:1-2 (NASB) "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!" Bev Robinson

March 14, 2014. A door is being opened for you to speak the word of the Lord to many people who are spiritually depraved and very hungry for more of God. They spiritually seek for all of God, being outside the Jewish faith and considered Gentiles. Peter was the man God chose to bring a world changing revelation from God. God sent an angel to enlist Peter from what he was doing in Joppa, telling him to travel to Caesarea where Cornelius was waiting for him and had called together his relatives and close friends. Expect a new and fresh call from God.
Acts 10:32-33 (NASB) "Therefore send to Joppa and invite Simon, who is also called Peter, to come to you; he is staying at the house of Simon the tanner by the sea. So I sent for you immediately, and you have been kind enough to come. Now then, we are all here present before God to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord." Ras Robinson

March 24, 2014. There are those among you who begin answering questions before the one speaking completes the question. This is rude, self-serving and is perceived by the interrupting person as making them appear superior. In fact, the interrupter is in need of recognition, the kind of recognition God gives. Start today praying for the interrupter. Look for an opportunity to mention how you have noticed some other person doing this to a question asker. Explain how that is rude and unthoughtful and brings shame to that person. Perhaps those among you who do this will hear the message and change the practice.
Proverbs 18:13 (NASB) "He who gives an answer before he hears, it is folly and shame to him." Ras Robinson

March 24, 2014. I have been giving you wisdom since before you were born. It came through those who loved in ways that is beyond the natural. You also continued to receive wisdom when your feet hit the floor. You have been reticent to pass it on, but now is the time. Wait on Me to tell you the specific timing, but when I speak, say it! You won't know until later if it was received and with some you will never know, except through their actions. My wisdom is timeless; it blesses you and others.
James 3:17-18 (MSG) "Real wisdom, God's wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced. You can develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity and honor."
